Commission - what does it cost you to have a buyer's agent?

The commission to be paid to the agent of the home buyer is typically paid by the home seller.

So, there is no cost to you for our real estate services*!
If the property you are interested in is listed in the multiple listing service (MLS), then the seller offers compensation (commission) to the agent of the buyer through the multiple listing service. The commission is paid to the buyer's agent by the seller at the close of escrow.
